What you will do

• Own the catalysis validation program plan end-to-end, including campaign sequencing, partner SOWs, and milestone tracking.
• Manage external validation partners, including high-throughput experimentation labs and equipment OEMs.
• Coordinate internal hand-offs between Research Scientists, ML teams, and Platform Engineering to integrate results into LQMs.
• Operationalize the design-test-make-deploy pipeline, focusing on data governance, provenance, and reproducibility.
• Drive risk, schedule, and resource trade-offs in collaboration with Vertical Leads and Product leadership.

Requirements

• Must be a US Person (Permanent Resident or Citizen) due to U.S. Government contractual requirements.
• 8+ years of experience managing applied R&D or scientific validation programs.
• Hands-on experience coordinating multi-party experimental validation campaigns and SOW negotiations.
• Technical fluency in catalysis, materials science, or chemical engineering.
• Proven track record of running compliance-grade reporting for government or large enterprise customers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with heterogeneous catalysis programs or semiconductor exhaust-gas abatement.
• Familiarity with machine-learned force fields or DFT-derived datasets.
• Experience operating against U.S. Government program requirements (e.g., CHIPS Act, DOE, DOD).
• Experience scaling validation infrastructure into repeatable platform workflows.
