What you will do

• Own end-to-end monthly payroll processing for Malaysia and assigned regional markets, validating all inputs including incentives and claims.
• Manage statutory submissions and compliance (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, income tax) according to local labour laws.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and maintain audit-ready documentation to ensure strong internal controls.
• Process salary adjustments, promotions, and bonuses with absolute accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate with regional payroll partners and EOR providers, resolving discrepancies and enforcing SLAs.
• Identify gaps in payroll workflows and support the improvement of SOPs and HRIS automation.

Requirements

• Experience in payroll operations, preferably covering multi-country or regional payroll.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with payroll systems, HRIS tools, and spreadsheets.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Strong coordination skills to work effectively with HR, Finance, and external vendors.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous process improvement.
