What you will do

• Define and influence the execution of a target-state, AI-native architecture supporting core services and agentic behaviors.
• Establish global standards for architectural consistency and platform component reuse.
• Oversee the design of complex AI systems, data engineering, and governance controls.
• Lead, scale, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of architects to foster engineering excellence.
• Define security and compliance standards to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Translate complex technical trade-offs into business impact for executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in Ireland
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, with 5+ years in senior leadership managing architecture teams.
• Extensive expertise in designing and deploying distributed, cloud-native architectures on AWS.
• Proven experience building AI-native products and technical strategies.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze TCO and ROI for technical decisions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
