What you will do
- Prospect and acquire new Chinese and wider Asian restaurants in key UK locations.
- Generate a self-sufficient pipeline through cold calls, walk-ins, referrals, and market mapping.
- Conduct in-person meetings and product demos to present B2B and B2C value propositions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through negotiation to closing.
- Coordinate schedules based on restaurant availability, including occasional evening meetings.
- Collaborate with the sales team by sharing market insights on the Asian restaurant segment.
Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (both spoken and written).
- 4+ years of experience in B2B sales, field sales, hospitality tech, or food service.
- Proven track record of prospecting, managing pipelines, and closing deals independently.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Resilience and a proactive attitude toward working in a target-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills to manage priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Nice to have
- Previous experience selling to Asian-owned businesses.
- Established local network within the Chinese or Asian hospitality community.
- Passion for restaurants, food culture, and digital marketplace platforms.
- Confidence using Google Workspace and experience with CRM tools.
