What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the next generation of observability infrastructure.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers building AI-powered observability and developer infrastructure.
• Drive initiatives to improve developer productivity, platform reliability, and operational excellence at scale.
• Partner with infrastructure, product engineering, and AI platform teams to shape autonomous operations.
• Foster an engineering culture centered on ownership, innovation, and customer impact.

Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering management experience with a track record of growing high-performing teams.
• Strong experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems and data infrastructure.
• Must have United States work authorization (note: certain visa categories and H-1B sponsorship may not be supported).
• Ability to work onsite in San Mateo, CA on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
