What you will do

• Drive revenue goals by identifying and engaging community and corporate leaders.
• Build and empower sustainable volunteer committees in Kern, Tulare, and Kings Counties.
• Secure new corporate sponsorships and manage vendor and cause marketing activation campaigns.
• Recruit, manage, and coach volunteers to implement peer-to-peer fundraising best practices.
• Oversee the planning and execution of the Walk to End Alzheimer’s event.
• Manage event budgets and use data to optimize fundraising outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in recruiting/mobilizing volunteers or meeting sales targets.
• Must be based in the Bakersfield, CA area.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and insurance for travel up to 60% within the territory.
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends for events and meetings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn Luminate/Convio software.
