TL;DR

Sponsorship Manager (Events): Driving innovation and maximizing sponsorship revenue for large-scale B2B events with an accent on strategic opportunity creation and cross-functional project management. Focus on building client relationships, managing complex budgets, and delivering high-performing sponsorship assets within the health and wellness industry.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Boulder, CO office (hybrid, 3+ days/week)

Salary: $65,000–$80,000

What you will do

  • Create and implement strategic sponsorship and marketing opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including sales, operations, and marketing to ensure successful delivery of sponsorship commitments.
  • Manage sponsorship budgets exceeding $1 million and oversee complex project timelines.
  • Provide exceptional service to sponsors, managing expectations and identifying new opportunities for client value.
  • Supervise and mentor team members to support professional growth and goal alignment.
  • Contribute to RFP development and ensure professional execution of event deliverables.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the Boulder, CO area for hybrid office attendance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in event planning, marketing, hospitality, business, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in the event industry, with a strong preference for sponsorship, operations, or marketing roles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing client and vendor relationships.
  • Ability to travel to conferences and tradeshows approximately 5-10% of the year.
