System Design Engineer Senior Expert

What you will do

• Own and lead compliance with legal requirement R156, including maintenance and future updates.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives across system and product development.
• Design electrical and electronic systems by defining system purpose, component interfaces, and expected behavior.
• Lead system engineering activities, integrate deliverables from multiple teams, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ensure system readiness, requirements implementation, quality assurance, and compliance before release.
• Develop system architecture strategies and roadmaps, lead concept investigations, and guide technical solutions through governance and approval.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of relevant experience in system engineering or related disciplines.
• Recognized expertise in electrical and electronic system design and architecture.
• Proven leadership in system-level engineering within complex, cross-functional environments.
• Strong understanding of system integration, verification, and validation.
• Experience managing system and non-functional requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience in structured engineering frameworks and agile release environments.
