Location: Hybrid position based in Gothenburg or Stockholm, Sweden

What you will do
- Design, build, and own end-to-end intrinsic and extrinsic calibration pipelines for cameras, lidar, radar, IMU, and GNSS.
- Develop and maintain factory calibration procedures and continuous calibration algorithms.
- Define calibration accuracy requirements with software, hardware, and operations stakeholders.
- Build automated tools for calibration validation and monitoring across the vehicle fleet.
- Scale calibration infrastructure for new sensor configurations, vehicle platforms, and a growing fleet.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
Requirements
- PhD or highly qualified MS in Robotics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of industry experience in sensor calibration, computer vision, robotics, or a closely related area.
- Strong knowledge of multi-sensor calibration, including camera intrinsics and extrinsics, camera-lidar, lidar-IMU, radar alignment, and hand-eye calibration.
- Production software development experience with C++ and Python.
- Experience with robotics and computer vision tools such as OpenCV, Ceres, GTSAM, Eigen, or ROS.
- Ability to take ambiguous problems from concept through deployment, including production validation and monitoring.
