What you will do

• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly profit and loss (P&L) analyses for the trading business.
• Execute ongoing price verification procedures to ensure accurate valuation of firm inventory.
• Assess new trades for appropriate valuation, accounting treatment, and disclosure in financial statements.
• Analyze and report the balance sheet and funding sources of the trading business.
• Produce financial statements and relevant disclosures for the trading business.
• Collaborate with the financial reporting team on key external reports, including earnings releases and 10Q/10K disclosures.

Requirements

• Qualified CA, CFA, or CMA certification.
• Strong accounting knowledge and basic industry knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for business use.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
