What you will do

• Own the financial planning cycle, including budgeting, rolling forecasts, and cash flow planning.
• Oversee the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial close and HGB compliance.
• Manage board-level financial reporting and support investor due diligence and financing rounds.
• Implement modern financial tooling and AI-powered workflows to improve team efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of two finance professionals.

Requirements

• Proven experience in financial planning (budgeting, forecasting) in a SaaS or B2B tech environment.
• Hands-on accounting expertise with solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB).
• Experience with investor reporting, including board decks and KPI dashboards.
• At least 1 year of people management experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid setup in Berlin.

Nice to have

• Experience with due diligence for investment rounds or M&A.
• Knowledge of Spanish GAAP or Swiss GAAP.
• German language skills.
