What you will do

• Act as a strategic right hand to the Director Finance & People, managing cross-functional initiatives and decision briefs.
• Own and run key financial processes, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close, and coordination with external auditors.
• Drive operational controlling, including budget planning, financial forecasting, and liquidity management.
• Identify and execute opportunities to automate manual finance workflows using AI tools and low-code platforms.
• Support financial modeling for growth projects and provide data-driven analysis to inform investment decisions.
• Manage relationships with tax advisors, auditors, and legal providers across multiple jurisdictions.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in finance at a Big 4 advisory firm or a high-growth startup.
• Degree from a top-tier university in business, finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills for financial modeling.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
• Solid understanding of German accounting practices and familiarity with IFRS.
• Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Berlin.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with BI tools or low-code platforms.
• Experience using AI tools to improve and future-proof financial workflows.
