Salary: $144,800–$190,000

What you will do

• Serve as a subject-matter expert for actuarial modeling platforms like FIS Prophet or GGY AXIS.
• Design and enhance projection models for forecasting, capital planning, ALM, and stress testing.
• Execute model runs across GAAP, Statutory, and economic bases while validating results.
• Implement and maintain modeling governance standards, including documentation and version control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Valuation, ERM, and Treasury.
• Troubleshoot complex modeling issues and support ad-hoc model requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, or Computer/Data Science
• 5+ years of progressive actuarial experience in insurance or financial services
• ASA Designation
• 2+ years of experience with FIS Prophet, GGY AXIS, or comparable tools
• 3+ years of experience supporting life insurance or annuity products
• 2+ years of experience in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java

Nice to have

• FSA designation
• Experience with C++
• Familiarity with cloud-based or high-performance actuarial computing environments
• Experience with model risk management and audit frameworks
