What you will do

• Lead, grow, and support inclusive engineering teams through coaching, regular 1:1s, and clear development plans.
• Collaborate with Product and Architecture teams to shape technical strategy and delivery plans for cloud-based platforms.
• Uphold high engineering standards for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and observability.
• Drive the practical adoption of AI and LLM tools to enhance developer productivity and product capabilities.
• Manage delivery commitments and operational excellence using Agile and Lean practices.
• Optimize AWS environment costs and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical leadership and people management scaling high-performing teams.
• Strong background in software engineering with expertise in cloud-native architecture and AWS.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and strong system design fundamentals.
• Experience delivering customer-facing web applications in Agile environments.
• Practical experience introducing AI/ML tools within engineering teams.
• Initially offered as a contract position with potential for full-time conversion.
