What you will do
- Oversee the entire ticket lifecycle from initial triage to verified production deployment.
- Lead the engineering response during critical, high-severity platform outages as Incident Commander.
- Organize and optimize the rolling schedule for engineers rotating into the squad from feature teams.
- Act as the primary link between Engineering, Support, Customer Success, and Product teams.
- Track and report on key operational metrics to eliminate bottlenecks in response and resolution times.
- Guide the team through deep-dive debugging of complex distributed systems.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK.
- Strong background in Software Engineering, SRE, or Tier 3 Support Engineering.
- Proven experience managing high-pressure situations and production outages.
- Deep expertise in issue tracking (Jira), version control (GitHub), and CI/CD pipelines.
- English: C1+ required for clear communication with executives and enterprise clients.
- Experience using AI for incident detection and triage.
