What you will do

• Lead two engineering squads focused on site reliability, cloud infrastructure, observability, and production operations.
• Oversee the architecture and system design of a highly available, scalable, and secure platform.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and QA to drive the adoption and convergence of platform strategies.
• Manage and mentor approximately eight engineers, focusing on professional growth and team wellness.
• Promote an AI-first mindset by encouraging the use of AI tools to improve development workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in engineering management, previously as an IC or tech lead.
• Strong technical background in architecting systems using AWS primitives.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or OpenTofu) and Kubernetes.
• Must be located in the United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Previous experience specifically in platform engineering and site reliability (SRE).
• Broad knowledge of various programming languages and tools beyond the core stack.
