What you will do

• Ensure fulfillment of HSE requirements at construction sites in compliance with company standards and government regulations.
• Support the Site Manager in implementing safety instructions for workers and partners.
• Act as the main local liaison with customer HSE organizations and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare weekly and monthly HSE statistics and reports.
• Conduct regular safety checks, inspections, and root cause analysis on HSE issues.
• Provide site-specific health, safety, and environmental training to personnel.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of experience as a Safety Supervisor with updated education per EM 385-1-1.
• Must have experience with USACE construction projects and government contracts.
• Completion of the 30-hour OSHA course plus 40 additional hours of training.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE management on construction sites or heavy industries.
• University degree in Health and Safety or equivalent.
• Experience working in a unionized environment.

Nice to have

• OSHA 510, 500 and BCSP CHST, ASP or CSP certifications.
• Experience working on Hydro power plant construction projects.
