TL;DR

Platform Delivery Lead (SaaS/Aviation): Owning the delivery, operational performance, and long-term evolution of a business-critical loyalty platform with an accent on vendor management and platform governance. Focus on leading platform upgrades, minimizing customisations, and ensuring system scalability to maximize airline operational efficiency.

Location: Must be able to visit the customer's Central London office 2 days per week

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end delivery of all platform changes, including enhancements, defects, upgrades, and lifecycle initiatives.
  • Lead the commercial and delivery relationship with the SaaS platform provider, ensuring quality and performance.
  • Translate business demands into deliverable platform outcomes while balancing technical constraints and stability.
  • Drive structured planning, release management, and risk governance across all platform activity.
  • Lead major platform initiatives such as migrations, capability expansions, and version upgrades.
  • Promote the adoption of standard platform capabilities to minimize operational complexity and upgrade risk.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering and operating complex SaaS or COTS enterprise platforms.
  • Strong experience managing third-party vendors, delivery partners, and commercial relationships.
  • Expertise in leading platform upgrades, lifecycle management, and operational governance.
  • Ability to manage delivery across multiple teams, priorities, and dependencies.
  • Strong understanding of platform resilience, service management, and governance practices.
  • Experience working with customer data, transactional, or rule-based systems.

Nice to have

  • Experience within loyalty, airline, fintech, retail, or customer engagement platforms.
  • Experience operating within product-led or platform-based organizations.
  • Familiarity with API-led architectures and integrated product ecosystems.
  • Experience leading large-scale SaaS platform transformations or migrations.
