What you will do

• Conduct risk-based audits and advisory services in accordance with professional standards and department policies.
• Assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls, including inherent and residual risks.
• Partner with business management and risk/control functions to ensure effective risk management.
• Develop and nurture relationships with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, value-added outcomes.
• Contribute to cross-team efforts to increase the overall value and effectiveness of the Corporate Audit department.

Requirements

• 2+ years of work experience within the financial services industry.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Must be able to pass a non-registered fingerprint background check to qualify as a fingerprinted person under FINRA.
• Strong understanding of risk management concepts and internal control evaluation.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, CIA, or CFA certifications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Strong analytical capabilities to identify root causes and develop data-driven insights.
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritize competing demands in a dynamic environment.
