What you will do

• Deploy production AI use cases with significant business impact across various industries.
• Build state-of-the-art GenAI applications, ranging from consumer products to industrial use cases.
• Collaborate with researchers and product engineers on complex fine-tuning and LLM applications.
• Contribute to open-source codebases for inference and fine-tuning tasks.
• Lead pre-sales technical calls to identify client needs and provide guidance on Mistral technologies.
• Feed customer feedback back to product and science teams to improve model capabilities.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Munich
• 2+ years of experience as a technical individual contributor (Data Scientist or Software Engineer) on AI-based products.
• Proven experience in AI/ML product implementation using APIs, backend, and frontend interfaces.
• Expertise in Fine-Tuning LLMs, advanced RAG, and agentic use cases.
• Strong proficiency in Python and deep understanding of ML/LLM algorithms.
• English: Fluent proficiency required

Nice to have

• Contributions to open-source LLM projects.
• Previous experience as a Customer Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Forward Deployed Engineer.
• Experience with PyTorch for deep learning.
