What you will do
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service across all shifts.
- Assist the Chef de Cuisine with menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal adjustments.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain the restaurant's five-star standards.
- Manage inventory control and supply ordering to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- Enforce strict kitchen safety and sanitation practices in compliance with health regulations.
- Lead the kitchen operations in the absence of the Chef de Cuisine.
Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional work experience.
- ServSafe certification required.
- Minimum 5 years of professional culinary experience.
- Proficiency in high-volume production, menu costing, and inventory management.
- Ability to understand written and spoken English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
