An early-stage fintech company rebuilding the mortgage loan origination system from the ground up using an AI-augmented platform.

What you will do

• Own the internal interpretation of mortgage origination regulations and investor compliance for the entire company.
• Partner with the product team to ensure the platform enables lenders to originate loans in a compliant manner.
• Oversee the alignment of AI products with evolving regulatory and investor requirements.
• Equip sales, implementation, and customer success teams with authoritative regulatory perspectives.
• Monitor and translate changes in the regulatory landscape (TRID, ECOA, RESPA, GLBA, GSE) into product actions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in mortgage compliance, specifically within a mortgage lender.
• Deep practical knowledge of mortgage origination regulations throughout the loan lifecycle.
• Ability to form a clear regulatory point of view and defend it with credibility.
• Interest in the responsible deployment of AI in highly regulated industries.
• Must be based in the United States.
