Marketing Principal

Location: Remote within the United States, with locations listed in Jersey City, New Jersey; Boston, Massachusetts; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Connecticut. Travel up to 10% is expected, mainly for in-person events.

Base salary: $109,000–$135,000 annually, plus potential discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead marketing strategy and client partnerships across Eastern-region utility programs.
• Advise utility clients and internal program leaders on strategic direction and long-term marketing approaches.
• Oversee strategic recommendations, marketing plans, integrated campaigns, and high-level points of view.
• Manage account and portfolio performance across scope, budget, timelines, quality, risk, and client outcomes.
• Directly manage, mentor, and develop account management staff across the region.
• Support regional growth through new initiatives, expansions, pilot efforts, and marketing-led opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, Digital Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in marketing, client services, or account leadership.
• Experience leading multiple accounts, complex teams, and client relationships simultaneously.
• Strong strategic thinking, presentation, communication, judgment, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience managing planning processes, scopes, budgets, and performance at portfolio level.
• Ability to work remotely within the United States and travel up to 10% for in-person events.
