TL;DR

Focus on designing accurate cost projections for complex heavy civil and structural projects, managing multiple timelines, and mentoring junior estimators.

Location: Hybrid at US Regional Offices

Salary: $140,343 - $260,676

What you will do

  • Prepare complete and accurate cost estimates for water, wastewater, and heavy civil projects.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs, including assigning crews and productivity for each discipline.
  • Coordinate with design, operation, and procurement teams to ensure estimate compliance and accuracy.
  • Provide technical advice to design teams for projects ranging from simple factored estimates to multi-billion dollar bids.
  • Direct, train, and develop subordinates and Junior Estimators.
  • Maintain and improve the company estimating database and formal training programs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of estimating experience required.
  • Must be based in the US (Hybrid at Regional Offices).
  • Visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Field and/or project experience.
  • Ability to complete pre-employment background checks and drug screening.
  • BS or MS in Construction Management or related field is preferred.

Nice to have

  • Experience with cost control and scheduling.
  • Ability to manage extremely complex multinational joint venture estimates.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
