Senior Structural Engineer

Salary: $175k–$185k USD per year

What you will do

• Manage all aspects of structural engineering design and mentor staff engineers.
• Develop structural drawings, Revit models, and technical reports.
• Apply building code provisions and interpret material design standards.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and project team members to ensure overall project synchronization.
• Perform construction administration tasks, including submittal reviews and responses to field questions.
• Foster and maintain client relationships and support business development efforts.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience in building design.
• SE license / Registration as a Structural Engineer in the State of California.
• Accredited BS or MS degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• Proficiency in structural analytical software and MS Office Suite.
• Must be based in or able to work a hybrid schedule in Oakland, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Revit.
• Experience with high seismic (SDC D, E or F), high wind, and/or blast-resistant design.
