Salary: $70,500–$128,820 + 10%–25% incentive

What you will do

• Manage a defined portfolio of business focusing on service, retention, and net acre growth.
• Sell Multi-Peril (MPCI), Margin Protection (MP), Crop Hail, and other supplemental insurance products to prospects.
• Develop and execute personal marketing plans and maintain an active sales pipeline through individual and joint calls.
• Deliver sales presentations and represent the association at regional industry and agricultural events.
• Process insurance forms, verify underwriting calculations, and manage policy changes in multiple software systems.
• Collaborate with insurance company representatives to resolve policy issues and drive sales results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Finance, or Business preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in insurance or agriculture-related fields with a focus on sales and service.
• Proven experience in relationship management and growing a book of business.
• Experience as a licensed crop insurance agent or insurance company representative preferred.
• Must be based in or able to work in Sioux Falls, SD.
