Salary: $136,000 – $184,000 per year

What you will do

• Own hirify.global’s presence and voice across key developer communities including Reddit, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and Hacker News.
• Develop a content plan featuring technical blog posts, code-first tutorials, and demo repositories to shorten time-to-first-call.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to optimize developer documentation and API references as growth drivers.
• Design and execute hackathons and manage presence at major developer conferences (e.g., API World, DeveloperWeek).
• Define and track KPIs for API signups, documentation engagement, and self-serve activation rates.
• Serve as the internal voice of the developer community, surfacing structured feedback to Product and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of marketing experience, with 2–3 years specifically focused on developer audiences or technical community building.
• Proven experience creating technical content such as API tutorials, integration guides, and code samples.
• Conceptual and hands-on comfort with APIs and developer tooling (e.g., ability to run cURL commands).
• Understanding of product-led growth (PLG) and self-serve go-to-market motions.
• Must be based in the United States (excluding specific states mentioned in location).
• Strong written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with developer newsletters or open source community building.
• Previous experience as a developer advocate or maintaining SDKs/libraries.
• Background in shipping, logistics, e-commerce, or fintech.
