Community Engagement Manager (Developer Relations): Managing and growing the global NetBox ecosystem by bridging the gap between practitioners, technology leaders, and the internal team with an accent on technical advocacy and community stewardship. Focus on designing the NetBox Heroes advocate program, operationalizing community feedback loops, and scaling regional meetups and virtual events.

Location: Remote (US East Coast)

Salary: $95,000 – $112,000 + Equity

hirify.global is the commercial steward of open source NetBox and Orb, helping companies accelerate network automation through open, composable products and SaaS solutions.

What you will do

  • Cultivate and grow the global community across digital platforms including LinkedIn, Reddit, GitHub, Slack, and Discord.
  • Design, launch, and operationalize the "NetBox Heroes" advocate program to onboard and empower community champions.
  • Monitor community conversations for technical trends and collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to provide answers.
  • Produce and highlight ecosystem success stories via blogs, podcasts, newsletters, and webinars.
  • Lead monthly virtual community calls and execute a global strategy for in-person regional meetups.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing and the Executive team to ensure consistent messaging and technical accuracy.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the US (US East Coast preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in community marketing, developer relations, or technical advocacy within enterprise technology companies.
  • 2+ years of experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling community programs, such as user groups or ambassador programs.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging technical audiences, ideally in networking, infrastructure, or open-source ecosystems.
  • Experience in event management for both virtual webinars and in-person community meetups.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on technical experience with networking, network engineering, or infrastructure automation.
  • Previous experience working with high-growth B2B SaaS companies.
