What you will do

• Define and deploy global manufacturing strategies for Product Engineering System Management Teams to align with enterprise priorities.
• Develop new manufacturing technologies and automation concepts to improve production efficiency and reduce cost per unit.
• Establish and govern Manufacturing Requirements (MRs) to support scalable and repeatable assembly processes.
• Partner with Product Engineering to integrate critical design requirements and represent Manufacturing Engineering in DFMEA development.
• Author and maintain global Statement of Requirements (SOR) and manage MR deviation requests.
• Coach PI teams on executing manufacturing strategies and perform competitive benchmarking to maintain production efficiency.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in General Assembly (GA) manufacturing processes and vehicle integration.
• Strong working knowledge of BOP, BOE, PFMEA/DFMEA, and GVDP workflows.
• Experience defining and deploying manufacturing strategies across multiple programs or platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Proficiency with engineering tools such as Teamcenter Visualization.

Nice to have

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
• Experience operating in ambiguous, pre-program or strategy-focused environments.
• Excellent communication skills, including executive-level presentations and technical facilitation.
