Location: Hybrid (Warren, Michigan). Must be based in the US; no immigration sponsorship provided.

What you will do
- Define and deploy global manufacturing strategies for Product Engineering System Management Teams to align with enterprise priorities.
- Develop new manufacturing technologies and automation concepts to improve production efficiency and reduce cost per unit.
- Establish and govern Manufacturing Requirements (MRs) to support scalable and repeatable assembly processes.
- Partner with Product Engineering to integrate critical design requirements and represent Manufacturing Engineering in DFMEA development.
- Author and maintain global Statement of Requirements (SOR) and manage MR deviation requests.
- Coach PI teams on executing manufacturing strategies and perform competitive benchmarking to maintain production efficiency.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in General Assembly (GA) manufacturing processes and vehicle integration.
- Strong working knowledge of BOP, BOE, PFMEA/DFMEA, and GVDP workflows.
- Experience defining and deploying manufacturing strategies across multiple programs or platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
- Proficiency with engineering tools such as Teamcenter Visualization.
Nice to have
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without formal authority.
- Experience operating in ambiguous, pre-program or strategy-focused environments.
- Excellent communication skills, including executive-level presentations and technical facilitation.
