What you will do

  • Coordinate overall maintenance activities and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain facility systems and equipment reliability through the PM program, including testing, repairing, and replacing components.
  • Manage a unionized workforce of 50+ skilled trades employees and plant services staff.
  • Ensure high standards for housekeeping, safety, and compliance with local and federal regulations.
  • Manage daily timekeeping, EMAINT orders, and comprehensive maintenance program records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) with 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience, or 8+ years as a Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Must be based in Ft.Wayne, IN, US.
  • In-depth knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and predictive/preventive maintenance programs.
  • Technical experience at a Journeyperson level and CNC experience.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and assess/manage risk factors.
  • Ability to work any shift, including overtime and weekends as required.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Kaizen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
