What you will do

• Manage pre-analytic workflow, including order entry, specimen collection, and transportation.
• Coordinate specimen processing and delivery between support services, nursing units, and clinical labs.
• Oversee daily workflow, adjusting staff assignments and priorities to meet service levels.
• Perform preventative maintenance on lab instruments and ensure reagent and supply availability.
• Handle post-analytic workflow, including result verification, report generation, and billing charge capture.
• Provide customer service, resolve service problems, and provide specimen collection instructions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with computer data entry.
• Must be based in Chicago, IL.

Nice to have

• Three years of Phlebotomy experience.
