What you will do

• Perform venipunctures and finger sticks to obtain blood specimens while maintaining specimen integrity.
• Verify test requisitions and patient identification to ensure accuracy and safety.
• Manage the logistical printing of patient reports and schedule courier services via FedEx or Medspeed.
• Handle billing inquiries and perform triaging and follow-up with patients.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by complying with legal regulations and JCAHO standards.
• Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA/PHI privacy and security training and requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• Phlebotomy Certificate (where required by State).
• Ability to adhere to professional standards and federal, state, and local requirements.
• BS/BA degree (Preferred).
