TL;DR
Account Manager (Sales): Managing the full client lifecycle from acquisition of inbound SQLs to strategic portfolio management with an accent on driving Net MRR growth. Focus on maximizing expansion revenue via upsell/cross-sell and executing retention strategies for at-risk accounts.
Location: Hybrid in Washington, District of Columbia. Unable to provide sponsorship.
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 base salary, $105,000 - $115,000 OTE.

What you will do
- Drive Net Monthly Recurring Revenue (Net MRR) growth through new sales, expansion, and retention efforts.
- Own the full sales cycle, from identifying client needs and demonstrating value to negotiating and closing agreements.
- Manage at-risk accounts and execute "save" strategies to turn cancellation requests into successful partnerships.
- Act as a trusted advisor and product expert to recommend impactful solutions aligned with client business goals.
- Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to channel customer feedback for improving the user experience.
- Maintain pipeline accuracy and forecasting using Hubspot CRM.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a closing role (e.g., Account Executive, Account Manager) with a track record of exceeding quota.
- Proven experience in client retention, de-escalation, and handling difficult objections.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing pricing and contracts.
- Results-oriented mindset with a drive to hit targets and impact key metrics.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Washington, DC.
