What you will do
- Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on compensation strategy, organizational design, and pay practices.
- Design and implement base salary structures, short-term/long-term incentives, and equity programs.
- Lead industry compensation surveys and perform complex market pricing analyses within the biotech and healthcare sectors.
- Administer annual compensation planning, including merit increases, promotions, and bonus programs.
- Manage SOX controls for compensation and collaborate with Stock Administration on equity grant processing.
- Develop executive-level presentations and monitor program effectiveness via compensation metrics and dashboards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, HR, or a related analytical field.
- 8+ years of progressive compensation experience, specifically within the biotechnology, life sciences, or healthcare industry.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Expertise in Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules is required.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and complex compensation modeling.
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, pay equity, and pay transparency regulations.
Nice to have
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation.
- Experience working within publicly traded companies.
