Salary: $65.00 – 73.50 per hour (W2 contract)

What you will do

• Install, configure, and maintain ServiceNow MID servers on Linux platforms for Discovery and integration operations.
• Manage Linux server infrastructure including RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu systems supporting ServiceNow.
• Configure and maintain AWS infrastructure components including EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Implement system hardening and security configurations aligned with federal security baselines (STIGs, CIS benchmarks).
• Automate deployment and configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Coordinate with network and security teams on firewall rules and connectivity requirements across enclaves.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance is required
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or STEM field (or Master's degree plus 3 years of experience).
• 5+ years of Linux system administration experience in enterprise environments.
• 2+ years of hands-on AWS experience including EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).

Nice to have

• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or equivalent Linux certification.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator certification.
• Understanding of secure cloud architectures and compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, FISMA).
