What you will do

• Build, configure, deploy, and maintain virtual and physical servers/systems.
• Manage RHEL and other Linux-based systems using the Command Line Interface.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot system issues using logs and specialized tools.
• Advise leadership on technical improvements, optimization, and process development.
• Document problem resolution life-cycles using the REMEDY ticketing system.
• Collaborate with software and system engineers to solve complex integration problems.

Requirements

• Active DoW Secret Security Clearance.
• DoW approved 8570 Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
• 8+ years of general work experience and 6+ years in IT systems installation and configuration.
• Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and virtualized server deployment.
• Proficiency in RHEL 8/9 administration via CLI.
• 1+ year of experience in a management or leadership role.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansible automation.
• NetApp storage device management.
• RHEL Satellite for security patching and software management.
• Network troubleshooting skills.
• Degree in IT or Engineering.
