Platform Engineering Manager - Trust Infrastructure

Location: Toronto or Vancouver, Canada, with a hybrid model balancing remote and onsite work.

Salary: CAD 218,000–263,000 base annually, plus potential stock options and benefits.

What you will do

• Set the technical and cultural foundation for hirify.global’s expanding Canadian engineering organization.
• Hire, develop, mentor, and provide feedback to high-performing engineers.
• Establish strong engineering standards through architecture reviews, testing, and effective processes.
• Partner with engineering and product leadership to define and execute long-term platform roadmaps.
• Coordinate cross-team delivery of high-impact, foundational infrastructure initiatives.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience leading high-performing engineering teams.
• 8+ years of total software engineering experience.
• Experience delivering large-scale foundational infrastructure.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, collaboration, ownership, and decision-making skills.
• Experience defining and driving technical and organizational roadmaps in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
