What you will do

• Set the technical and cultural tone as the first engineer based in Canada, building a larger team from the ground up.
• Hire, mentor, and develop world-class engineers to build a high-performing team.
• Maintain high technical standards through architecture reviews, testing, and a strong engineering culture.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to define and execute long-term platform roadmaps.
• Coordinate and collaborate across teams to deliver high-impact, cross-cutting initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be based in Toronto or Vancouver, Canada.
• 8+ years of total industry experience in software engineering.
• 6+ years of experience leading high-performing engineering teams.
• Deep experience delivering large-scale foundational infrastructure.
• Proven ability to define and drive technical and organizational roadmaps.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
