Manager, IT (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid work with offices in Toronto and Saskatoon, Canada

Base compensation: CAD $112,000–$169,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of three while setting priorities and promoting continuous improvement.
• Run day-to-day IT operations and provide hands-on employee support through Jira.
• Manage core software platforms, IT systems, device environments, and user access.
• Lead IT projects covering workflow improvements, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Develop AI tooling practices, knowledge resources, and self-service support for employees.
• Partner with Security, Development, and business leaders to evaluate and drive technology adoption.

Requirements

• Experience leading and developing an IT team through coaching, feedback, and priority setting.
• Hands-on IT experience in a fast-moving SaaS environment, including Mac support, troubleshooting, SaaS administration, and user access management.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Atlassian, Jamf Pro or a similar device management platform, and Okta or another identity and access management solution.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Practical and adaptable approach to ambiguity, decision-making, and prioritization.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment with in-person collaboration in Toronto or Saskatoon.

Nice to have

• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl for automation.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and automation for scalable, reliable IT operations.
