What you will do

• Design and maintain ADS/ADAS software solutions for production and future platforms.
• Develop Object Fusion pipelines by integrating data from camera, radar, lidar, and ultrasonic sensors.
• Translate system requirements into robust, scalable software architectures and algorithms.
• Lead perception efforts in collaboration with planning, controls, and validation teams.
• Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and best practices.
• Ensure software quality and safety compliance with automotive production standards.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software architecture, design, and implementation.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Simulink.
• Experience with ADAS/ADS concepts, automotive perception, or real-time embedded platforms.
• Ability to optimize code for speed and memory usage.
• Experience with unit and system-level testing methodologies.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of communication protocols like CAN and Ethernet.
• Experience with Kalman filtering and signal processing.
• Familiarity with GM-specific processes like GVDP, PRTS, and FMEA.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools like Python and Matlab.
• Experience with vehicle, hardware-in-the-loop, or software-in-the-loop testing.
