TL;DR

HR Associate (Administration): Supporting daily human resources functions with an accent on onboarding, record maintenance, and employee relations. Focus on ensuring compliance with employment laws, assisting with benefits administration, and coordinating performance management processes.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to McLean, VA (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Coordinate new hire onboarding activities including paperwork, background checks, and orientation sessions.
  • Maintain accurate human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Track and document compliance with mandatory training and education programs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and assist with benefit-related documentation.
  • Support the resolution of minor employee relations issues under HR management guidance.
  • Assist in the coordination of performance reviews and feedback sessions.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in McLean, VA.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft products and SharePoint.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proactive attitude with an eagerness to learn in a dynamic HR environment.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business.
  • Previous experience with HR technology, specifically ADP TotalSource.
  • Human Resources certification or specialized training.
