What you will do

  • Develop and set the global strategic direction for current and future molecular diagnostic portfolios.
  • Identify and assess emerging market opportunities and build business cases to prioritize new investments.
  • Execute cross-functional market research and Voice of Customer (VOC) programs to identify unmet needs.
  • Partner with R&D to define competitive applications and technical requirements for new products.
  • Create long-term portfolio strategies and build financial models for global sales forecasts.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and financial performance to mitigate business threats.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Science, Business, or Marketing.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in healthcare technology across marketing, sales, and strategic planning.
  • 5+ years of experience in market analysis, VOC primary research, and developing corporate strategies.
  • Proven track record of launching and managing products in clinical or research laboratory markets.
  • Experience with global healthcare regulatory and reimbursement environments.
  • Ability to travel 50% domestically and 10% internationally.

Nice to have

  • Master's Degree or additional business training/certification.
  • Knowledge of US and global infectious disease diagnostic markets.
  • Experience with IVD development and commercialization processes.
