TL;DR

Head of Deal Strategy (SaaS): Designing and optimizing the commercial architecture and pricing models for high-value enterprise engagements with an accent on bespoke deal structuring and C-suite value narratives. Focus on creating scalable pricing engines, establishing commercial guardrails, and translating complex data models into executive-ready proposals.

Location: Hybrid: Must be based in New York City (Tue-Thu in office, Mon/Fri remote)

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 base + annual bonus and equity

What you will do

  • Own the commercial architecture and serve as the final strategic sign-off for all client proposals.
  • Partner with the BD team to architect complex enterprise deals and translate product capabilities into value narratives for C-suite buyers.
  • Create and design high-impact pricing proposal slides, translating financial options and usage-based value into simple executive formats.
  • Develop strategic frameworks and commercial guardrails to maintain unit economics while allowing sales creativity.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Executive Leadership to drive complex deals to completion.
  • Analyze win/loss data to codify patterns into an evolving commercial playbook.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Deal Strategy, Deal Desk, or Revenue Operations in a software, SaaS, or high-touch consulting environment.
  • Proven track record of structuring bespoke Enterprise deals and delivering C-suite level presentations.
  • Experience with novel monetization models, specifically usage-based or consumption models (tokens, credits, data tiers).
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills to collaborate with seasoned BD veterans and leadership.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fluid entrepreneurial environment.
  • Must be based in New York City.
