Electrical Design Engineer

What you will do

• Lead electrical system designs and oversee hands-on implementation.
• Support the full product development lifecycle of xenon flashlamp systems.
• Provide technical support for existing products in the field.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster technical growth within the team.
• Liaise with sub-contract suppliers to ensure design specifications are met.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
• Proven experience in electrical system design (IEC 60204-1) and safety design (ISO 13849-1 & 13849-2).
• Strong background in fault-finding and revision control documentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in commissioning systems (FAT & SAT) and high voltage design (IEC 60204-11).
• Proficiency in E-Plan and sizing capacitors.
• Experience in developing and troubleshooting Siemens PLC/HMI programs and ladder logic.
• Experience in supervising system builds.
