What you will do
- Develop and close strategic opportunities within assigned enterprise accounts in DACH to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Execute the ALEER sales framework to secure initial wins and expand usage across customer projects and workflows.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with executive, business, and technical stakeholders across Development, IT Operations, and Security.
- Orchestrate virtual account teams, including solution engineers and partners, to influence decision-makers throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with IBM enterprise sales teams to deliver integrated, end-to-end automation solutions.
- Navigate complex procurement, legal, and commercial processes to ensure compliant deal execution.
Requirements
- Fluent English and German are required.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a consultative, value-based environment.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and IT automation concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to execute Adopt-Land-Expand sales motions in large, complex organizations.
- Experience in managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and large strategic accounts.
- Ability to link technical solutions to business outcomes, ROI, and TCO.
Nice to have
- Experience selling into German Global Accounts in industries such as financial services, insurance, or manufacturing.
- Technical knowledge of ’s product portfolio (Terraform, Vault, Consul, Nomad).
- Familiarity with IBM and Red Hat technologies like OpenShift and Ansible.
- Formal training in enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Miller Heiman.
- Experience using Salesforce for pipeline management and forecasting.
