Manager, People Experience (HR)

TL;DR

Manager, People Experience (HR) (HR Operations): Managing full HR operations for the North American population including US and Canada with an accent on employment compliance, benefits administration, and payroll. Focus on scaling HR infrastructure using TriNet and SAP SuccessFactors and partnering with leadership on organizational design and workforce planning.

Location: Hybrid; Must be based in Los Angeles, CA (expectation of three days per week in the office)

Salary: $95,000 – $110,000

What you will do

• Administer US employee benefits, 401(k) plans, and manage the TriNet PEO relationship.
• Oversee EOR relationships for Canadian employees to ensure provincial law compliance.
• Maintain SAP SuccessFactors for North American employee records, positions, and compensation.
• Advise business leaders on workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and organizational design.
• Drive talent management initiatives, including performance reviews and promotion cycles.
• Lead culture-building programs and engagement surveys for the LA office and NA team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of HR or People & Culture experience, including 2+ years in a managerial capacity.
• Deep expertise in US benefits administration and 401(k) compliance.
• Hands-on experience with TriNet (or similar PEO) and SAP SuccessFactors.
• Strong knowledge of California and federal US employment law, as well as Canadian provincial standards.
• Experience managing EOR relationships for international employees.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Psychology.
