TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Canada

Salary: 110,000 - 120,000 CAD

What you will do

  • Lead the bi-weekly payroll process for US and Canadian entities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee the administration of health, welfare, and retirement benefit programs.
  • Ensure strict compliance with state, provincial, and federal labor laws and payroll regulations.
  • Manage employee communications and education regarding benefits and wellness programs.
  • Handle absence management and equity processing for North American offices.
  • Coordinate quarterly accruals and reporting for the Finance team.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or be able to work in a hybrid model in Toronto, Canada.
  • Deep knowledge of US and Canadian employment and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset.

Nice to have

  • Experience with UKG HRIS and payroll systems.
