TL;DR

Product Designer (UX/UI) (Fintech): Designing and delivering high-quality, user-centered mobile experiences for a major financial institution with an accent on visual and interaction design. Focus on crafting end-to-end user journeys, leveraging design systems in Figma, and ensuring accessibility for a diverse customer base.

Location: Hybrid in Bristol, UK (minimum 2 days/week in office)

Salary: £61,344 – £68,160

What you will do

  • Deliver high-quality visual and interaction designs across the mobile application.
  • Craft end-to-end user experiences through wireframing, journey mapping, and prototyping.
  • Collaborate with user researchers to align designs with customer needs and business requirements.
  • Utilize and extend an established central design system using Figma to create UI elements.
  • Work closely with developers and engineers to ensure designs are implemented precisely in the live app.
  • Iterate and improve designs based on regular performance data and customer feedback.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in both User Experience (UX) and Visual Design.
  • Proven track record in digital design, specifically for mobile applications.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and high-fidelity prototyping.
  • Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative research to inform the design process.
  • Must be based in or able to work hybridly from the Bristol office.
  • Strong advocacy for customer inclusivity and accessibility standards.

  • Experience working within financial services or other complex industry landscapes.
