Production Engineer (Mechanical)

What you will do

• Review and disposition Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) on a daily basis.
• Create and review nuclear inspection sheets (CCVs).
• Provide on-floor technical support and troubleshooting for production teams.
• Prepare and update engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOM).
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and purchasing to resolve product issues and prevent reoccurrence.
• Develop standard work documentation to capture and implement best practices.

Requirements

• BS in Engineering or a Diesel Engineer degree.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD, with a preference for SolidWorks.
• Proof of US Citizenship and attestation of no dual citizenship (required for access to Unclassified Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information).
• Ability to travel up to 10% for domestic supplier or customer site visits.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of combustion engine components or other related mechanical systems.
• Proven problem-solving experience.
