Post Processing Technician (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite at the Knoxville, Tennessee facility, United States. Schedule: Thursday–Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Perform support removal, surface finishing, and dimensional checks of metal parts.
• Operate post-processing equipment, including bandsaws, EDMs, and hand tools.
• Conduct visual inspections and follow aerospace quality-control procedures.
• Document completed work, report part non-conformances, and communicate tool and consumable needs.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety and continuous-improvement practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, machining, or a hands-on technical role.
• Familiarity with MES and computer-based systems such as Microsoft Office and SmartSheets.
• Ability to use hand tools and measurement devices, including calipers and micrometers, and interpret basic engineering drawings and work instructions.
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance are required.
• Willingness to wear required PPE, work overtime or shifts as needed, and comply with aerospace quality and safety standards.

• Previous manufacturing, machining, or production experience.
