What you will do
- Co-develop and execute the European business development strategy for discovery services.
- Lead targeted engagement programs with venture capital firms, incubators, and accelerators to build a robust pipeline.
- Manage a portfolio of strategic key accounts to maximize client retention and revenue growth.
- Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions, transitioning new opportunities to project initiation.
- Report European BD performance metrics, pipeline development, and market intelligence to senior leadership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, marketing, and project management teams to ensure exceptional client experience.
Requirements
- PhD in a chemistry or biology discipline.
- 9-12 years of relevant industry experience in drug discovery.
- Deep technical knowledge of early-stage discovery workflows, target identification, and translational science.
- Proven track record of independently driving and closing significant BD opportunities in the drug discovery sector.
- Experience in strategic key account management and executive relationship development.
- Must be based in Europe.
